Maynard and Ann Belt
Maynard and Ann Belt
Maynard H. Belt, having been reared in a non-churched home in Allegan, MI, placed his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a teenager. A year later he enrolled at the Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI, to prepare for ministry. There he met and married Ann in June, 1963, after which they embarked upon a life long journey of ministry for the Lord. For nearly 25 years he served as senior pastor of four churches; 16 years as state representative of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches; and several years as a Bible/Missions conference speaker. Maynard and Ann have visited several mission fields where he has had the privilege speaking in missionary family camps and College/Seminary settings.

Over the years he has served on several missionary councils/boards/institutions; an Associate Pastor of Senior Ministries and Seniors Class teacher; has served as a special representative for Church Relations with Baptist Mid-Missions; and presently serves as president of the Fellowship of Missions, a missionary organization representing some thirty mission agencies with 2,000 missionaries serving the Lord on all six continents of the world. Maynard is still available for speaking in missionary/Bible conferences as well as overseas ministries as the Lord enables. Along with his Barnabas File writings, he has authored an 18 lesson discipleship book, Discipleship Studies for the Local Church; Scripture Meditations from the Pen of Maynard H. Belt; and A Preparatory Foundation for Pastoral Ministry.

Maynard and Ann reside in Grand Rapids, MI, and have been blessed with four children, three of which are married, and six grandchildren: Shelly, Kelly and Tammy (Nathan & Kayla); Melanie & Mike (Lexy & Shane); and Chad & Marcy (Austin & Dylan).
